A tool says my phone does not have that sensor
That is usually accurate rather than a bug. Phones vary a great deal in which sensors they include — gyroscopes and barometers in particular are often omitted from budget devices. Open the device and sensor dashboard to see the full list of what your phone actually exposes to Android.
A reading looks wrong
Every tool page explains what its sensor can and cannot do, which resolves most of these. The common causes:
- Compass pointing the wrong way — nearby metal or magnets, or the magnetometer needs a figure-eight calibration sweep.
- Sound levels that stop rising — the microphone has clipped, which happens around 90–100 dB on most phones.
- Proximity showing only two values — that is how the hardware works on most devices, not a fault.
- Metal detector ignoring a metal object — it senses magnetic fields, so aluminium, copper and gold barely register.
Readings depend on your phone's hardware and are meant for everyday and educational use, not certified measurement.
Where do my CSV logs go?
Recordings are saved inside the app, where you can rename, share or export them. Use the share or export action to move a log to a file manager, cloud drive or email. Uninstalling the app deletes any logs you have not exported.
The sample rate in my log is uneven
That is expected. Android treats a requested sensor rate as a hint rather than a guarantee, so intervals vary. Always use the timestamps recorded in the file rather than assuming evenly spaced samples. See the logger page for detail.
I bought remove-ads and still see ads
Make sure you are signed in to Google Play with the account used for the purchase, then restart the app. If ads persist, email us with the order number from your Google Play receipt and we will sort it out. Refunds are handled by Google Play.
Is the heart-rate tool reliable?
No, and it is not meant to be. It is included for fun and is not a medical device. It cannot detect an irregular heartbeat or diagnose anything. If you have any concern about your heart, speak to a doctor.
Reporting a bug or suggesting a tool
Email studio.pluto.game@gmail.com. Including your phone model and Android version makes a bug far easier to track down, because so much of this depends on specific hardware.
